Time: Sunday, 31st August, 2025
Venue: KIB (Knowledge, Innovation & Business Centre), Dhaka
Role: Event Coordinator
Overview
I served as the Event Coordinator for a high-profile health awareness event held at KIB, Dhaka — the official unveiling of the book "সুস্থতার মূলমন্ত্র" alongside the inauguration of the allhealth24.com health news portal. The event drew over a thousand attendees from across the country, uniting senior government officials, academics, media personalities, and civil society representatives on a single platform. As coordinator, I held end-to-end responsibility across four core functions:
Event Design — Conceptualized the overall event theme, programme flow, stage design, and visual identity to ensure a cohesive and professional atmosphere.
Public Relations (PR) — Managed all media outreach, press coordination, and communications, including liaison with Channel 24 and other media partners.
Venue Management — Oversaw the full setup and logistics at KIB, Dhaka, including seating arrangements, technical requirements, and on-ground operations throughout the event.
Hospitality — Led the hospitality team to ensure a dignified and seamless reception experience for all distinguished guests, delegations, and attendees traveling from afar.
Project Objectives
The event was designed with a clear set of goals aimed at promoting public health awareness and creating a meaningful platform for health discourse in Bangladesh:
Launch a health-focused literary work — To formally unveil "সুস্থতার মূলমন্ত্র," a book dedicated to guiding the general public toward healthier lifestyles and well-being.
Inaugurate a digital health platform — To introduce allhealth24.com as a reliable, accessible, and dedicated health news portal serving the Bangladeshi public.
Bring together key health stakeholders — To create a unified platform where government officials, medical professionals, academics, media, and the public could engage in meaningful dialogue around public health.
Raise awareness on health literacy — To emphasize the importance of informed health decisions and promote evidence-based health information at a national level.
Strengthen public-private health communication — To bridge the gap between health policymakers and the general population through media, literature, and digital outreach.
Target Audience
The event was strategically designed to engage a broad yet purposeful audience across multiple sectors:
General public — Citizens seeking reliable health information and guidance on healthy living.
Healthcare professionals — Doctors, nurses, public health workers, and medical academics interested in health literacy and knowledge dissemination.
Government & policymakers — Officials from the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and related departments involved in shaping health policy.
